How are we accelerating the evolution of our digital solutions

 

Five years ago, we started a challenging journey in our digital transformation with the launch of CEMEX Go, our digital platform that enables a superior digital customer experience. And today, we are celebrating all the outstanding achievements!

We were the first company to offer a digital solution in the construction materials industry, which remains to be the only one to offer an end-to-end solution in the quote-to-cash process available in most of our operations.

The platform’s success has encouraged us to accelerate its evolution targeting 100% adoption coverage across business lines and customer segments, and a fully automated experience with complete supply chain visibility.

So far, CEMEX Go currently manages 93% of cement and 85% of ready-mix concrete customers.

In the past four years, our Net Promoter Score (NPS), the most widely used customer loyalty and satisfaction measurement, increased impressively by 50%.

We’ve done an outstanding job, and to continue this road; we are adding new functionalities to our CEMEX Go platform that are in the process of being implemented or scaled.

  • Dynamic fleet optimization to improve delivery times and dynamically schedule orders based on traffic, distance to batching plants, and customer location.
  • Dynamic overbooking that uses data to predict order cancellations and reschedule to ensure that production and delivery capacity is optimized, providing more delivery slots while retaining the flexibility to adapt to their project’s needs.
  • Predictive Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve logistics and customer service in the ready-mix concrete business. Our industry-leading use of data allows us to foresee demand seven days in advance and optimize production processes to meet the market’s demand. We’ll also be able to offer dynamic prices to customers, giving them more control over their projects.
